I was trying to find a thread on this and the oldest I could come across was from 2 years ago!
I thought it was time for a revive. Obviously the first thought for my wedding band was the matching band, but then I started wondering…would a NON matching band be more fun…or would it look weird? I’m obsessed with filigree antique looking bands.
Seeing helps, and I know some ladies are rocking the non matching bands so show em off!
Here’s a picture of my ring and some pics of styles I like. The thing holding me back is that I have diamonds on my band, so would it be weird to have non-matching diamonds?

My wedding band isn’t in yet (been ordered, just has yet to arrive), but here’s pictures of the one I tried on. (It was almost 3 sizes too big, so that’s why the rings are in the wrong order in the picture, it was the only way I could get them to lay some-what flat against each other.)

My E-Ring is Tiffany’s. The band is custom – made from diamonds given to us from both families that used to be our grandmothers.

@MissDallasCowboy – Thanks! I actually put the ring on as a total whim. We were looking at bands and my fiance said “oh, look, that one is green!” (I love the color green), so I figured what the heck, I’ll try it on. I had zero intention of actually going with that style band, but it was just so perfect when I put it on!

I actually ended up going for a matching-ish band, but I also bought a non-matching band to try with it (but I ended up returning). I did love it though!
