Old e-ring that we traded in:

Traded this ring in for this set:

Gemstone band stood up to high and was uncomfortable. So now I wear it as a RHR and as a stand in ring. I found a different amethyst band online. The main diamond  (in the above picture) was not as good of quality as I wanted….soooo….Traded in the 1.16, G, I2 diamond for a 1.02,G, VS2 celebration cut diamond and reset the stone into the same setting:

I missed the finger coverage of the old stone and liked the look of kite sets…so I had a jeweler turn my setting into a kite setting….so now it looks like this:

I am finally done! Not changing it anymore, promise! lol

They really are! I looked at your original ring at Zales not too long ago. I liked it, but your new set is just stunning. You’ve given me ideas of using a gemstone band! ๐Ÿ™‚

Original set had a 1/2 ct round that sat fairly flush within the setting, and had one band:

We exchanged out the center stone for a .9 ct cushion (my favorite), and added a second band — gives the ring a different and more vintage look:
