I’m the same as you, tall and slim and most people assumed that ill be wearing fit and flare mermaid type. I did try them on but it just wasn’t me. When I put on my Nora, I just knew it was the one! Its still form fitting kn the top and then tons of tulle on the bottom. Love her.

I’m short and slim, and I thought a ball gown would eat me up! I originally went looking for something simple and lace. Boy, did I go in the opposite direction!

I am definitely tall (6’1″) and slim so I Thought something fitted would be most flattering. Turns out, I like the ballgown better.

It’s not tulle, but it’s definitely a ballgown!

I knew all along I wanted a tulle gown.  OP, I love your dress.  It is seriously stunning.  Mine is just one big puff…no hoops or crinolines.  Just a ton of tulle.

@Petite_Fraise:  I’m going in for my second fitting the week of April 16th and I think she’s doing a double french if I remember correctly. She had some other ideas, but I basically told her I wanted the strongest bustle she had because the train is Cathedral length, satin, and HEAVY. No broken bustles for me!

I also had the back of the bodice dipped into a “V”  because it was making my shoulderblades look like back fat and that just isn’t a good look lol.
