@kcleigh:  I absolutely adore the detailing on your ring…the Celtic look is stunning!

I don’t know if mine counts as unusual detail or not, but I have a princess cut center diamond that is skewed 45 degrees so that it is “kite set.”  I have only seen 2 or 3 similar settings on this site, so maybe that makes it a bit unusual?  I’ve got two tiny diamonds on the inside of my band as well.  The sidestones are princess and round, so I have a variety of shapes going on.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I think what I love about it is that this is the “diamond shape” I always thought of as a kid (alright…maybe it is solely because the “blue diamonds” in old-school Lucky Charms cereal were this shape!!!)

Teehee….

I’ve been told that the prongs on my alexandrite ring are very unusual…some like it, some don’t, but I love it (: and all of your rings are gorgeous, ladies.

The stock photo shows it better than any pictures I’ve taken. I’ve never seen this basket detail before, and it was that little something that made me sure about my ring!

I’ve never seen a setting like mine anywhere before so I think it’s kind of unique!  I adore my ring.

I like how my sapphire is tension/bar set and I can see the bottom of my stone.

@takemyhand:  What type of wedding band did you get? I have a diamond accent on either side of the profile of my e-ring and I don’t want my wedding band to hide it, but I feel like that’s unavoidable. Undecided

My unusual detail is that it looks like a solitaire from the top, but from the sides there is a little collar of platinum and diamonds.
