Hi bees! I am curious to see everyone’s venue! Ours is a 19th century mansion, which holds up to 120 people. It has a beautiful chapel within, and I’m so excited to be married there! It was the one decision that I never wavered on.
However, it was twice what we bugeted. Did you stick to your budget on your venue? Did you have to say no to the venue of your dreams?

Ours is a community center. It used to be a church but was bought by the city and is now used for events. We are using the main theater room for the ceremony and then flipping it for the reception. The main reason why we chose it is because of its reasonable cost and its location. [attachment=770385,98611]

Ours is the Monte Verde Inn in Foresthill. It’s a Georgian style mansion and it’s all inclusive, $80.00 a person. Not bad!

GORGEOUS venues, ladies!
Ours is a replica Mediterranean fishing village on the edge of a cliff in Spain, with rustic buildings, cobbled streets and a Roman amphitheatre….
We’re getting married in a tiny, crumbly church nearby.

Wow Bees, those are some spectacular places. I know mine is not as grand, but is the place I knew I wanted even before I met the love of my life. Now I’m glad I have it all, him and the venue
