Ours was hand-made by my parents. It was truely beautiful! And to think, before Mr. Hedgie proposed, they had never even heard of one!

Ours was very  similar to @Ms Hedgehog‘s

with had glass balls suspended with candles in them, (DH wanted to get married under twinkly lights).  You can kind of see them here

We had a really large ceremony space so we tried to fill it by attaching “wings” to the chuppah that extended to the ends of the stage.

Here’s our outdoor chuppah 🙂 The day before the wedding my bridesmaids and I were painting those pots white!

 

Inside our chuppah, we had a handpainted cloth hanging that was gifted to my temple by a famous artist before she passed away.

 

It hung down in the center attached at each corner.
