thefuturemrsgibbs, I am not sure yet where I’ll get them from…….I’m in Canada… I’ll go with somewhere local.  I may have my decorator add this to her to-do list as she may be able to get a good deal on the supplies (she is doing all the flowers).

IM IN LOVE WITH THE SMORE AND CANDY BUFFETS! Do alot of you think that this is a good option instead of a traditional favor? Im sort of a traditional type gal…but really like the idea of doing something like this instead of a favor on the table.

I’m not a fan of favors, either.  But we’re doing these organic heart-shaped bird feeders.

I am doing wedding crackers which are a tradition in the UK, but not seen very much here. The guests pull them apart and inside is a joke, fun toy, and a tissue paper hat. The also make a popping sound when pulled. I love the idea of seeing my guests dance around with tissue hats by the end of the night.

I also got a great deal on them, they were on sale for 75% off at Pier one, plus my mom is the manager there, so it got them 8 for $2.75!

@nannettenicole – My friend used crackers as escort cards at her wedding and they were a huge hit!  During dinner, almost everyone was wearing a paper crown, reading outloud their joke and playing with their trick (the 3 things inside the cracker).  It was so funny to watch everyone get a kick out of it!

I’d prefer favors which are edible. So I picked some hand-decorated cookies as my wedding favorsWink

love the cookie idea…thought about that at first then changed my mind. i’m doing mini cheesecakes!!!! qvc sells juniors cheesecakes (called little fellas) in packs of 9 for around 35 a pack. they’re about cupcake size so i’m actually putting them in boxes and makin em pretty and i’ll also use them to double as escort cards or table cards. they’ll be on a table right as soon as they enter the reception area. i’m not using a see-through box cause they come in 3 different flavors and i don’t want anyone trying to snag another flavor….
