I love seeing all these cute dresses!
@ Jbinkley1 – The dress I posted is a Lilly Pulitzer dress – it’s on the Lilly website and on Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s too. Because it’s almost $300 (3 times my ideal budget!), I’m trying to talk myself out of it but am not doing a very good job!
@ Ms. Starfish – I adore that dress! If my rehearsal dinner were at a fancier venue I would totally want one for myself! Regarding the wearing white issue, since there is no hard and fast rule I definitely think you should do what YOU want to do!

I love all these dresses so far!
@Ms. Starfish: I am having the same debate in my head! I want to wear white, but I worry about it “taking away from the wedding day.” I think I am going to wear white though. First of all, I’ll be way done up and in a totally different dress on the wedding day. Secondly, I’m going to be tan and ready for a white dress, so why not rock it while you can?? 🙂 PS: I think that dress is fabulous!

About wearing white: I think it is PERFECTLY FINE! I am milking it a little I guess but really I don’t think it will take away… everyone will still be focused on you as the bride on the wedding day.

Starfish- I’m wearing that dress to my rehersal brunch! I think you definitely need to wear it 🙂 I wanted to wear a dress that would make me stand out as “The Bride” and I think that dress is perfect for that!

This was my Rehearsal Dinner Dress…our colors were black and white so it was perfect. I found it at White House Black Market

I don’t know where I saw this one… but I love it!

Here’s mine! It’s the green one, and I’m wearing it with black leggings and my green heels. (:

i love this lela rose bridesmaid dress, but i have a feeling some of my bridesmaids may not be as into it, so it may be my rehearsal dinner dress instead 😉 http://www.dessy.com/dresses/lelarose/lr102/

@Starfish & @ Blueshoes… I think you are TOTALLY fine to wear white to the rehearsal & dinner. It doesn’t matter that you’ll be wearing white again the next day. Chances are the two styles will be VERY different. I totally don’t think that’s a big deal.
Personally, I like color and I’m always drawn to bold colors so that’s the direction I will go for my rehearsal attire. But it’s not b/c I don’t want to wear white two days in a row.

Ahhh with 2 months to go I FINALLY got a rehearsal/rehearsal dinner dress! Macy’s has some really cute white and black/white dresses right now, FYI.
It’s satin-like material, with flowers cascading down the shoulder and the sash ties into a pretty black bow in the back. Whew, so relieved to have finally found one!

Blueshoes, great pick! I love the one shoulder, as well as the shoulder detail and the black sash.
I don’t know what we’re doing for our rehearsal dinner yet (oops, only 4ish months to figure that out!), but I really want to get this J. Crew dress and wear it for something!
