  • Wedding: October 2013 - A Beautiful converted Barn

YAY! any excuse to show off our gorgeous venue!!!

Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire – http://www.dodmoorhouse.co.uk/

There are 3 converted barns surrounding the courtyard, the one on the left (as you look at it) is where we will be getting married, the barn at the end is where we will have the wedding breakfast and then the evening reception, it has a bar upstairs! and the barn on the right is the bridal suite with a large adjoining room for us to relax in and get ready in the morning of the wedding.

SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!

@weird_bunny:  Dodmoor! That was so close to being my venue too, the service there was amazing, and I’m still somewhat hung up on the amazing bar prices they had – and the option to buy in a barrell of ale, which sounded amazing.

This is mine though, Brownsover Hall in Warwickshire:

Sorry, only have rubbish photos from Christmas!

The wedding coordinator seems a bit scatty, and the bar prices are more expensive, but the price was much better, and included the food too, as well as welcome drinks and they’re doing us a deal on wine and canapes, so I guess it balances out from Dodmoor. And the grounds are so pretty, and the food is really really good – they gave my FH and I a free meal each when we came for our first look around! Much closer to the church too, and nearer more budget hotels for all the Out of Town guests, so I guess it balances out.
