Hi all, I’m new here!
If you have unique shape engagement ring AND a paired wedding band, please show them to me!
I got a tension setting Engagement ring, my Fiance surprised me with this setting and I like the look (not something I will choose by myself, though), and now I really need some idea or suggestion for how to pair it with a wedding band.
James Allen does provide a matching band (Like this), but I don’t like the design of their band, and it’s a bit expensive for our badget.
This is my ring, sorry for my ugly nails…

I think mine is kind of unique since I haven’t seen anything really like it. It’s a cornflower blue sapphire

I have never seen a cluster ring like mine. It was a gift from my Mother-In-Law

your ring is really pretty. Have you seen the james allen band paired with your ring? I am trying to picture it, and I just can’t. I’m not sure what the next best option would be. I’ve had a look around the interwebs, and your options seem to be: do the matchy thing with the JA band, try on a bunch of plain white gold bands of varying thickness and see if they “go” at all, or go custom, and see what someone like david klass, or a trusted jewelry designer recommends.
If it were me, I would probably get a plain band of somewhat the same shape, but thinner, and see how that looks.

I would wear it stand alone and wear a weddingring on my other hand!

Well, I haven’t actually bought this band yet. But seriously considering! Love quirky sets 🙂

My garnet with Brazilian Paraiba tourmalines. It is an odd color combo, but as you can tell from my profile picture I like red and green togeather.

That’s not just a ring OP, that’s a work of art!

not my ering but still a bit unique to wear as a wedding set, this is my wedding band and anniversary ring that I just got (so no judgement if you start seeing it show up in every thread it even remotely could fit in LOL)

I’ve got an idea for you but it’s really hard to draw/explain. I’ll try. What i was thinking for you is to have a band made that would fit inside the band and have two “bars” running parallel to your diamond with diamonds pave set into them. The “bars” would run vertically up and down next to your diamond. Please excuse my crude drawing, I am not a great artist. I hope it gives you some idea of what I am talking about.

I would pick something like this. It would mirror the unusual shape of your ring but wouldnt take away from it. It would have to be custom designed though.

wow your ring is so striking! Would you consider wearing your wedding band on your right hand (or vice versa) so that your e-ring can stand out on its own?

I didn’t end up with this ring (I was slightly worried I would “grow out” of the style) but boy did I ever come close to taking the plunge. I contacted the seller and received a quote and came THIS CLOSE to commiting… But my husband hated it and thats what ultimately nixed it. Still, hands down, this is IMO the most beautiful ring in the entire world. I’m still sad that it wont ever be my ring 🙁 I have been kicking the idea around of having one made with less expensive materials, because I’m just that in love.
