I’m having a custom-made contour band for my engagement ring so my set is away at the jewelers. Since I’m having my wedding band soldered, I got myself another stand-alone band in rose gold. I’ve been wearing this rose gold wedding band alone for a while now and I just love it!! Of course I miss my engagement ring but there’s something so effortless and classic with a single wedding band (or even a stack, which I love!).
I’ll share mine…please post your wedding bands alone, I would love to see them! 😉
2mm 14k rose gold with 0.12 ct tw diamonds.

I don’t have mine yet (ordered earlier this week) but it is also got a diamond rose gold band! I think mine is 1.5mm. I love the look of these types of thin, dainty bands. My ering is white gold so I’ll be mixing metals.

Awesome!! Please come back and post 😉 I also have a 1.5mm white gold and diamond eternity band. Dainty is lovely, I really like the look. Sometimes I could stack my bands but I kind of prefer them alone:

I don’t have any photos of my wedding band alone… but here is one of the ‘set’. My engagement ring will sit in the middle of my band, so I won’t ever wear my wedding band by itself.

I am not married yet, but I will also have a Contour band. I really like your idea of buying a simple stand alone band! I would love to do that too! Thank you for the idea. 🙂

Here they are, alone and together. And I didn’t get them as a set- they’re actually from totally different jewelers. I like having the freedom to wear just my band since I work in the medical field and my e ring is pretty high off my finger.

@NikkyS – I’ll post a pic as soon as it comes in! I just realized I commented on your bands earlier this week on another thread! Gorgeous!

I’m so in love with my engagement ring, so I never just wear my wedding band. I also think it would hurt my dh’s feelings, considering he put time, effort, and money into picking out the engagement ring he though was perfect for me. I do think, eventually I’ll have days where I just wear the band.

I love my Celtic wedding band!

I’m using my (now deceased) grandmother’s – I don’t have a hand pic though. I love it – very vintagey and classic.
I work outside a lot and get dirty & dusty, so I plan to wear this alone a fair bit.

You may have seen mine before. Not married yet but once I am, I will likely wear it alone.

Well who doesn’t like an excuse to get more jewelery, right? 😉
Your band is gorgeous alone! It’s a nice size.
Is it a half band or eternity? I just love a thin diamond band like yours!!
Same, I thought I’d always be wearing the engagement ring…but sometimes it’s too much. And I love how easy and beautiful it is to wear a sparkly band which is low profile. I may just wear the band in the summer, when I’m in shorts all the time, cycling and running, etc. And wear the e-ring the rest of the year 😉
Not sure if I had seen your beautiful, mixed metals twist band!!! Does the swirl go all around?
That’s beautiful! I had never seen a Celtic band, thanks for showing her off! 😉
How significant is your band, wow. It truly is classic and vintage. 🙂 What metal is it?

Thank you! Mine is a half eternity. I need to get it soldiered to my engagement ring because it spins and then doesn’t match up, which is driving me crazy.

You will love the soldering!!! Your rings will always be in place 🙂 I had my first wedding band soldered and loved it. I now traded it in for a different style, which I will solder as well.
