Wow that’s exciting that they decided so quickly!  I hope that it is that quick when we sell our home.

Oh i can imagine not being nostalgic when we move…it was sad when we left our home in Cali and it’ll be sad in 10 years when we leave this one.

That is AMAZING they already want your house. Absolutely fabulous. And yay for wedding monies! =]

I think another reason people might be going quickly is to qualify for the homeowners credit.  They have to have a contract by April 30 to qualify so it’s down to the wire.

Seriously, the little details mean SO much. I’ve walked into homes and it smelled bad, the lighting was harsh, they made you wear booties (it’s just a pain and feels unwelcoming) and it sounds like setting out candles and punch just makes for a nice impression. Not that people should be swayed by that for home buying, but maybe it makes them feel more “at home” =]

I am a single mom and after 3 years of apt living, my daughter and I moved into our home right before her 4th birthday. She will be 13 when we make the move to my FI’s city. Even though his house is almost TWICE the size of my 3br/2.5 bath home, I am still having separation anxiety about leaving my home Frown but I know it’s worth it.You put your heart and soul into building something up for yourself….especially after somebody tried to tear you down…and sometimes it’s hard to let it go.

In my case…I have to sell my home but hopefully it won’t stay on the market long.

@Bellenga….LOL! I am getting the feeling they want you out of that house NOW. They are probably already decorating it in their minds.
