Hi ladies. I read some posts regarding shower favors, but maybe there are some new, fresh ideas out there! Since the shower will be small, we can do nicer favors. I wanted to give everyone a little thank you for coming! Age group is 22-25, plus my mom! I scoured Etsy, too, but it’s so overwhelming!!!! Thanks

Hmmm….I’m gonna have to mull on this for a bit. I don’t remember ever receving a shower favor as a Bridesmaid or Best Man. I hear ya on the Etsy thing though, I LOVE it, but sometimes there are SO many fab things I get too overwhelmed to make a decision on anything.
Do they all have anything in common? like they all love Starbucks, or cooking, or Bath & Bodyworks?

my shower was last sunday. my sister went to lindt chocolates and purchased chocolate truffles. they gave her beautiful little boxes to put them in. they looked lovely – and they taste awesome.
you may also want to do something like a little rosemary plant that you can decorate with ribbon or a pretty tag. rosemary is nice because smells wonderful and lasts a long time. plus you can use it to cook with.

i just looked back at your age group – more ideas:
maybe a little bag with travel sizes of nice hand cream, lip balm, etc. at the aveda salon i go to, they have a whole section of their products in travel size.
have you ever seen a purse holder? it is a little portable ‘hook’ that attaches to a table that you hang your purse on instead of putting it on the floor or on your lap. my friend gave me one as a gift that i keep in my handbag. i use it all of the time, even on a bathroom door when it doesn’t have a hook for my bag.

Ack, no they all like different things! Since it’s a brunch, i was going to do like, chocolate coffee beans and whatnot, but only half the girls like coffee. I was thinking maybe little soap dishes from Etsy with little bars of handmade soap and tags that say, "hope your shower is as good as mine"
Oooo i love Aveda! I just want to make sure it’s a practical gift that they all can use/like. Chocolates would be good, I’m sure. I just don’t like chocolate personally. But maybe the salon near me would have a bunch of little items I could get for affordably. The soap dish on Etsy was like $8 and the soap i could just buy real inexpensively at Whole Foods
I thought about purse holders except that we all got them at our sorority’s anniversary celebration last weekend! And by "all of us" i mean "all" of us, LoL. They are SUPER awesome and we all loved them! I take mine to bars and use it when there’s no holder for my purse
