Have you called everyone? Did you ask why they can’t make it?

Hopefully most people are just too busy and didn’t think to RSVP

Who is handling the guest list and RSVPs, you or your MOH?

I thought that almost no one could come to one of my showers because I kept hearing from only the people who couldn’t attend. But lots of people had called my Maid/Matron of Honor to day they would be there, so it all turned out fine!

I sent out texts and facebook messages to girls I hadn’t heard anything from.

And no, you don’t need to be calling people as the bride, and also if Maid/Matron of Honor is handling the guest list, which she is.

@fresitachulita:  If your Maid/Matron of Honor is handling the guestlist, then it’s up to her to get responses. I wouldn’t send an updated guestlist, but you might want to pass on the informal declines, in case they assumed telling you instead of her would work. (I had a few people do that.)

I think it’s best to focus on who is coming.  I know it’s hard when you expect many to come, but honestly sometimes smaller more intimate gatherings can be a little more fun! I am only inviting like 12 to mine. I have a small social circle and small family and only 80 coming to my wedding.  If not all 12 show up, oh well–I will enjoy who is there 🙂 Good luck!!

Just remember you are going to have a fantastic time regardless of how many people show up =)

You shouldn’t have to call any of them, the Maid/Matron of Honor should handle that.  I’m in a very similar boat… my shower is also tomorrow and in the last 3 days I’ve heard from like 5 people that they aren’t coming.  But I’m thinking the people who are coming just didn’t bother to tell me since they are supposed to RSVP to my aunts!

Maybe you’ll have some surprise guests. But if you don’t, just enjoy spending some time with your bridal party.

You as the bride shouldn’t have to call/text/ FB people!

Just enjoy your shower!

I am sure it will be fun no matter what!
