I know it was the right thing to do. My shower was to be June 9. We just finished calling all the guests and telling them that its off. I’m sad, but I know I would not have been able to be happy continuing the shower knowing my mom wasn’t able to be there. She just got released from hospital and isnt totally healthy yet…and we are now working on getting her follow up appointments with doctors. I know she is crushed about it all, and it makes me sad that She is sad. She worked so hard and planned so much for that day. Please send a hug and a prayer or two our way , Bees…

I hope your mother gets better! Good call on waiting until she’s well enough to enjoy the shower. I know I wouldn’t enjoy my shower much if MY mother couldn’t attend.
