The Shower invites can be whatever you wnat. They do not have to match the wedding stationary….it’s a totally separate party. The same as your theme and colors for your showers usually aren’t anything like your Wedding.

i think it’s totally up to you!

Future Mother-In-Law ended up buying my shower cards for me that ironically ended up having the same color scheme (pink&brown) as the invites that i had made at work (yes i made my own shower invites, we have a pritning department at work that did 80 invites, recipe cards for $20 :))

but i also have green ty cards in case i need extras… id ont really care, as long as i get a ty card out to everyone 🙂

i just had my shower and sent thank you notes and my thank you notes weren’t even in the same color family as my other materials. i don’t think people will notice or care. have fun!

I agree. I designed my wedding invites in a bright, funky, striped mexican theme, and my mom’s shower invites were hilarious chili-pepper shaped “fiesta” theme.

For my Thank you notes, I just bought basic pink floral boxed thank you cards at Hallmark. I think the note inside is more important than the design outside, in this case. 🙂

i went to CVS and bought 3 boxes of cute generic thank you notes.  no one will notice if they match or not!
