How do you decide who makes the cut for your bridal shower? I think I am only getting one (thrown by my bridesmaids) so I don’t want to leave anyone out. Should I include guests who will need to travel (it’s unlikely that they’ll come) or FI’s family who I’ve never met before?

I think it would be nice to send out invites to Out of Town guest, I recieved a shower invite for my cousin in CA and really wished I could have gone.
Don’t invite people who aren’t invited to the wedding though.

Oh I definitely wouldn’t do that! Our wedding guest list has already been trimmed quite a bit due to space limitations, so everyone on the guest list is family, close friend, or close friend of our parents.
So do I really include every female? Including myself, that comes out to 65 people!!

I would say you should include every female you know personally (i.e. don’t invite your cousin’s girlfriend whom you’ve never met). If they’re from out of town, they can decide not to attend, but at least they’ll have your registry information that was sent with the shower invitation, so they can order a gift to be sent to your house if they choose.
