My Fiance had no idea I went and bought a dress. One day I showed him a “dress idea” but was actually the dress I bought and he hated it. Now I have dress regret and tones of anxiety.
Wedding Dresses are big deals for women. I never thought I would care about a silly dress, but I care way way way more than I expected.
She clearly wants it to be a more tranditional experiane where you don’t see her until the wedding. That is okay.

I wanted to show the dress to my Fiance, but he doesn’t want to see it. However, he asked me to help him choose a suit. Everybody is different.

Fiance saw my Pinterest with dress ideas before I purchased my dress. He also knows the general style of the dress I did purchase (especially since it’s similar to 70% of the dresses I pinned). I’ve almost shown him the pictures of my actual dress a few times but have refrained. I don’t think it’s really a big deal, but I know he wants to be surprised.

Fi and I share a photos account, so he’s seen pics of me trying on various dresses, but he hasn’t seen the one I picked and doesn’t want to see it until the wedding.

The only thing my fiance knows about my dress is that it’s strapless with a sweetheart neckline and makes my butt look really nice (because, hey! That part is important to him!). I did not show him any pics of dresses I was considering – I want it to be a surprise.

I guess it differs from woman to woman but traditionally, the dress is expected to be a complete surprise to give that wow moment for the groom and everyone. When I was trying on dresses though, I showed my fiancé pictures of me in the dresses because honestly I don’t get the whole wanting it to be a surprise mindset.. I show him because I’m too excited to keep it to myself and not really for an opinion though lol. I know when it comes to fashion, I have the final say and not him 😂 he’s not that interested in the dresses though so I’m intrigued why you’re so interested.. lol

I showed my Fiance nothing nothing and he has not asked at all.

LOL, maybe it’s just me, but because we’re further away from both our families (we’re on the west coast and our parents are all on the east coast) I’m actually bringing him dress shopping with me.
Of of course I won’t buy it in front of him. But because it’s our day, and we will have pictures together of our outfits forever, I want him to like the dress. Plan is to find 3 dresses we love, and then I’ll buy one of them.
