I’m an only child, so sibling dynamics always feel foreign to me. Fiance has one brother, and he’s a groomsman. They’re not terribly close, but they do get along. I’m happy FI’s brother and brother’s gf are coming, and it would be weird if they didn’t.

I have 2 siblings who live out of state, and Fiance has one sibling who lives out of state. They will all be attending, and bringing their whole families. I would have been floored if any of them declined our invitation, as they can all afford it and they don’t have any unusual circumstances. I would do the same for them.

craigslistgirl:  My brother, SIL and niece (brothers bio daughter) flew in for my wedding. My nephews (my brothers step-kids, her kids from previous) did not come because they said it was too expensive for all of them to come. I was a little taken back, I thought they would be there for sure, but it’s not my decision.

If she has no obvious reasons why she isn’t coming I would be bummed out.
