Whenever I have a stomache bug, I don’t eat or drink until my symptoms are gone. Let it all out and just suck on some ice or swish your mouth with water. Once you’ve stopped vomiting/diarreahing, try nibbling on saltines and sipping flat soda. I hope you feel better!!!

I would recommend staying away from your Fiance. It usually takes a person 48 hours to become ill after they’ve been exposed…. I don’t think you want him sick on your wedding day either!

Awww, that does suck. The good news is that by tomorrow you will be close to healthy if not over this nasty bug or food poisoning. If you are still sick (besides fatigue) today, call your doctor to get a prescription anti nausea pill. When I had food poisoning in April, I felt so bad after 16 hours that my roommate drove me to the ER that Sunday night where I was given an anti nausea injection and a prescription to fill. But if you are showing improvement and can keep fluids down, then just have the doctor call in the prescription and stay home/have Fi pick up the pills Along with Popsicles, saltines or pretzels, soda pop such as sprite and clear broth. Wait on solid food until bad nausea stops. By Tuesday I was up and around. By Wednesday it was as if it hadn’t happened. I avoided greasy and spicy foods that week just in case. I definitely would avoid vitamins!!! as well as juice right now because what is healthy usually is not healthy with a tummy issue.
i will be sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. You will have a wonderful day! 🙂

Thanks everyone. I went to urgent care today and they agreed that it’s most likely viral, although I sent off a stool sample for testing in case it’s something else (that was a lot of fun, let me tell you).
I’m feeling a LITTLE bit better – haven’t thrown up in 12 hours, stomach is still churny but I’ve got a bit more pep. Going to get to bed early tonight and soldier on through it. Gah. Please send me good vibes!

OMG, that’s terrible! Steer clear of your fiance and try to rest up! On the bright side, at least this is a way to do a forced “cleanse” right before the big day 🙂
Jokes aside, I’m hoping you feel better soon!!!!
