Ugh, yes. I picked up my mom and brothers from the airport super early yesterday morning (I even brought them peppermint hot chocolate from Starbucks). About half way to their house my mom told me my brother had had a stomach bug the night before and basically promised me I won’t get sick. “He’s not touching anything or coughing on you, it’ll be fine!” Well, guess who started violently throwing up at about 9:30pm? This girl!

I was really busy and hadn’t had anything to eat all day so I ate a bunch of pizza at dinner around 7pm and about an hour and a half later the puking started and lasted until sometime around 3am. Ugh.

Fiance had gone out around 10 and got me some clear Powerade and Pepto which is what has gotten me through the day at work today. I haven’t eaten anything today either so I’m starving but afraid I’ll start puking at work. Turns out 3 other people in my office are out with the same exact symptoms, which is weird because we’ve been closed for the holiday since Wednesday. There much be something going around.

Rest, Pepto and clear liquids are my advice but there doesn’t seem like there’s much to do aside from that. πŸ™

I have been having the SAME symptoms as you…

Saturday was puke-day – 2 times every hour and at one point 5 times in one hour. I couldn’t keep tablets down, nothing. So I just drank water. And that was some type of food poisoning from eating bad pizza.

Then on Sunday I was removing my nails and I had to use acetone to get rid of my gel nails. That gave me a horrific nosebleed. I rarely ever get nosebleeds, and it was horrible and nasty. I threw up a few times then too.

Then today I couldn’t go to my lecture because I had a horrible headache, a horrible stinging nose and my stomach was really painful. But haven’t thrown up today, thank goodness… Just been eating yoghurt and drinking water πŸ™‚ Get well soon!

I’m just thankful my parents don’t mind being woken up and being asked what to do lol. Both of them are docs, so I was able to get some kind of advice without freaking out like a madwoman. Thank you though πŸ™‚ I have to be better I have a bunch of lectures tomorrow… Booo

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Thanks, I hope we’re all 100% by tomorrow. I’m really hoping Fiance doesn’t catch it. πŸ™

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: We’re going to NYC for the night. A good friend of ours gave us a gift certificate to our favorite hotel there, Ink 48, as a wedding gift and we haven’t used it yet, so our anniversary seemed like the perfect opportunity. How about you?

I’ve been sick since Thanksgiving night.  Well, that’s when the symptoms started.  Sore throat, no voice, and all around blah.  I’ve been clammy and breaking out in sweats.  I thought I’d feel better by now, but no go.  I had to call out of work.
