Sounds like conjuctivitis to me. A trip to the vet is in order.

Was she recently spayed? Both of our cats got a little upper-respiratory illness after their surgery, the vet said that it was common and gave meds to help it heal.

Just keep her fed & hydrated until you can see the vet. Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

Could be some sort of upper respiratory infection..I wouldn’t worry too much.. just get her to the vet tomorrow & she should be fine

@FutureMrsPatterson:  My vote like many others suggested is upper respritory infection, which I believe is also feline herpes. My one cat suffers from an infection a couple times a year; he’s a rescue kitty too. Once they get it they can always get it and it is very common in shelters. I volunteer at a shelter and we have several cats that have chronic upper repritory infection which means they’re always weezing, sneezing and oozing. It’s unnerving to see kitty squinting his eyes but she should be okay. It may ease her pain a little if you do a warm wet compress on the eyes if she’ll tolerate it. I wouldn’t use the same compress on both eyes though, I would use a new one for each eye. Hope you get good news at the vet tomorrow and she gets better soon.

Definitely get her to the vet. She should have had booster needles but it may be something that requires attention or antiobiotics. Keep us updated!

Sounds like conjunctivitus or possibly a respiratory infection.  Take your baby to the vet either way.  I think it will ease your  mind.

What a pretty girl! My cat got a little URI after I brought her home. The vet said it was extremely common in kitties who had been in a shelter. Couple of days of amoxiciliin and she was totally fine.

Congrats on your new baby!
