@Amandaeclark: I’m curious- is this woman still your wedding plannner? I think if she is…she deserves a talking-to about how rude and unprofessional that comment was..

    Your dress is stunning!

It’s a popular dress because it’s a lovely and flattering style!  I am also wearing a very popular style dress, but I know that most if not all of my guests will not have ever seen a bride in that dress.  Just because the internet world of wedding planning knows the dress by name, doesn’t mean your actual guests will.

@Amandaeclark: Good! How did she take the news? Do you think she realized she screwed up?

i know how you feel!!!!! i’m getting married in december 2013!! but i love adorea when i tried it and i didn’t want to put anything else on so i really felt that was the one it wasn’t in my budget to get it brand new so i brought it pre loved for a fraction of the cost i love it but like you say i see so many wedding photos/broads with adorea and had a massive wobble about trying to get something else, even though i love the dress! i have decided to keep it but to customise it up a little (although still try to think how) any ideas would be great, but like every ones says its how you feel and there right i didn’t know how popular it was until i’d got it, every bride wants to be different and i know my family and friends haven’t seen adroea on a million brides lol x

Some things are popular for good reason.

    Just saying.

Don’t let what anyone else does bother you. Adorae is a gorgeous dress, period. You love it–so who cares what anyone else thinks. And there will only be one YOU wearing it, so it IS an original. My dress is Maggie Sottero’s Bernadette. Guess what–many other brides wore it and like it, and I do too, so I’m wearing it for my wedding. Do what makes you happy, girl and congratulations!

The dress is GORGEOUS!!! You look beautiful in it!! And guess what ?!?!?!?! YOU are the only one who will be wearing a wedding dress on your day!! (unless it’s a two dress wedding) Do not worry about what the wedding planner says or that you see other Brides with this dress as honestly it’s just because it is a truly beautiful gown. Keep it!!

If it makes you feel better, I didn’t know what the dress was… Girls in the process of wedding planning/buying dresses might recognize it but I bet most of your family and friends won’t Most people aren’t all tied up in the wedding trends. I wasn’t a dress person myself so I don’t know half these popular dresses shown on here!

I would fire your planner- how rude! You will rock the dress- forget what anyone else thinks.
