I am sorry, but your post title and post made laugh; not at you, but because of the way you worded it 🙂

This site has been very helpful to me for my arms and they have a ton of exercises with videos to show you the right way to exercise. I am sure you can find something that will help you there. Oh, they do try to sell you stuff on some of the videos, but they show you the exercise first, so you can just click out of the video to get away from the ad.

haha, I don’t think you can get rid of boob fat!  It’s just the way boobs are!  The bride should have considered that as a problem when she picked out those dresses for you.

Will any of those “sticky-bra substitute thingies” work to help reign in the girls?  Or Lots of tape, to kinda hold them into the front and not let them wander off to the side?

lots of tape! make sure you bring some with you to the reception too so you can touch-up in the bathroom if you get sweaty.

Tape! for sure.

The title of this thread made me laugh! I didn’t know there was a bad kind of side boob.

This sounds like a problem that can be solved by some creative tayloring. Can you get the sides altered to better fit you?  If not, lots of flies, chest presses, and pushups at the gym!!

I really don’t think there are any exercises to get rid of “side boob”.  Your “side boobs” are breast tissue so you really can’t tone them up or anything.  It’s just the way your breasts are built/shaped.

Maybe you can get some kind of shawl/cardigan/bolero to help give you some more coverage?

Didn’t Scarlett Johansson have flesh-toned panels built into a dress once to solve this problem?

I found it – you can see them here if you look close:

I bet there are some flat-chested girls out there that would love to have a side-boob “problem.”

But if you’re really concerned and you think it may be inappropriate-looking, just do push-ups, chest fly’s, and buy some double-sided tape and a good bra.

Unless you are already super skinny there are definitely exercises that can help with that area.  It’s true you can’t get rid of your breast tissue but most people have extra fat in their boob/armpit area that you can definitely work on.  The poster above me who suggested push ups and flys is exactly right.  Those will help with toning you up.  Tape will help with keeping the dress in place but if it’s cutting into you because it’s just too tight then you should see a tailor and to find out if they can help at all.  Sounds like the bride did a not so great job on picking the dress.

oh my gosh, i’m in the SAME boat.

i’ve been working out and dieting like crazy for 2 years to get down to a healthy weight for my brother’s wedding.  I tried on the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses at my lowest weight, but I’ve gained a couple of pounds due to Xmas, etc.  So when I got my dress in, I put it on, and I am exploding out the top.

The dress was very smartly chosen to be flatting on all types and to give you room to have a “gut” if you eat too much at the wedding.  And we got to pick our own necklines.  So when I tried on the dress to pick a size, I was wearing a regular bra.

But when I picked up the dress that I had ordered, I was wearing a padded strapless bra.

So I’m gonna have to find a non-padded strapless bra to give myself more room in the top half of the dress to shove some boobage down in there so it’s not spilling out.

I’ve read though that the only way you can get rid of side boob is just to drop poundage, b/c it’s really not an area that you can focus on specifically through toning.

Is this just a case of the boob wandering to the side of the dress? If so (and you’re wearing a bra), put the bra on,  lean over, and “scoop” your boobs into the cups. Tada! Instant front boob! 🙂

But otherwise, yes, side boob is normal, it’s probably just the way your girls are shaped. Without just losing weight everywhere (and making your boobs smaller overall) you’ll just have to use tape and or the “scoop” method.

Yup. The boobs are usually the first to go when the pounds start dropping, too.

Are we talking side boob where you can see the side of the boob through a sleeve or that gooshy stuff in front outside corners by your arm pits? With the side boob, I’d say the tape thing. With the gooshy stuff, I think you’re either stuck with it, you have to lose major weight (to get rid of it), surgery, or maybe you can get alterations so a strap (if you have a strap) is thicker? Good luck. I hate that stuff, I have it too. 🙁
