Hi all 🙂
I need a bit of Bee-education on side stone settings
I am planning on setting my oval 8×6 moissanite in next few weeks. My inspiration photo is below.
I belive this photo shows a shared-prong setting (but I stand to be corrected!).
Is there a way to do a shared-prong setting with claws? Or what are other side stone setting types that might work?
I do not like this setting:

Hi there! Love ovals, your ring will be beautiful! I have a halo, but love the setting of my side stones. They are French set, which (in my opinion) looks absolutley gorgeous, and also keeps my diamonds very stucturally sound. Also, French set bands are smooth on the sides, they dont have the bumps that some prong set bands have- which I like. Good luck in your search!

Thanks so much for your reply 🙂 Your ring is stunning!
I am considering the French set – my only concern is since I will be setting in rose gold, there might be too much metal showing between each diamond. It looks so beautiful and seamless with white gold or platinum and diamonds, but am wondering how it will look with the rose gold…
