SabalT:  Here’s a few quick pictures I snapped with my iphone 🙂 I designed the ring myself, but I didn’t really think about the side/bottom view until after I got it. And although I would have loved some beautiful detailing at the bottom, it would have made the cleaning process really difficult so I’m very satisfied that there’s no unaccesible parts. It sits a bit higher than what I imagined, but I’m actually happy about that as it allows the light to pass through the diamond (= maximum sparkle :D) and also it will make my wedding band sit flush. I plan on stacking with 2 or 3 rings, but we’ll see 😉

What a lovely thread. 

Mine is 100% not what I would have thought I’d get. I was planning in solitaire in plain prong setting. 

ended up with this baby. My fiancé snapped it up at an antique dealers after months of becoming a diamond geek. Bought for the size colour and clarity of the main diamond. We planned a reset. When he proposed with a cleaned and correctly sized ring (it was made about 5 sizes smaller), I knew I wouldn’t change a thing. 

I love that I have something so unique and hope the previous owners of the ring are happy that we have it. I feel a strange sense of guardianship over it now. It’s about 100 years old. Platinum. OMC diamond 2.4cts centre. Just a tad under 3cts all in. We both love the little hearts. the side profile looks much daintier in real life
