post a picture of your e-ring – then we can make suggestions!

agreed, post a pic, so we can make suggestions on styles.

I avoided the whole dilemma by picking a wedding set instead of a ring and band separately, so they are conformed to eachother (curved styles); does the designer of yours make some type of matching one?

I think a 1/2 to 1 ct eternity band would be perfect. Someone on here has that. I’ll see if I can find the link!

I think an eternity or pave or any type of thing with little diamonds would be nice.  Although I would have thought it would be hard to find a band to fit the shape of the pear, it looks like the bottom isn’t really protruding so you could still have a band flush to it, or get one with a slight bend if that looks nicer to you.  A plain band would definitely work, just IMO that would be kinda plain 🙂

I’m planning on a solitaire and a plain band and I think it will complement your ring nicely too, I find it looks best when the engagement and wedding ring have the same band whether they’re both simple or both have gems.

You could go with multiple bands. One plain in another metal and one diamond in a matching metal.

I did that and I think it looks unique yet still enhances my e-ring (rather than detract from it):

Or you could go for something in between! I am LOVING this band from zales at the moment. It contours around a solitaire perfectly!!!

Have you concidered going in to talk to a jeweler? Thats what we did, they gave us around 5 custom different options and we chose our favorite, it was a little more money but in the end its going to be something i will be wearing for the rest of my life so the extra investment was worth it for us. 🙂 Hope that helps, when you see the right one you will know. Good luck!

I had a LOT of trouble due to the shape of my ring… We ended up having our jeweler make a custom one for my ring… We may eventually have him make a matching custom one for the other side… MAYBE 🙂
