@Lyndzo:  What’s the guilt about?  If your mom thinks you should try on the 2nd dress, I would go for it!  πŸ™‚

I didn’t vote because I don’t think anyone other than you can decide this. If you think you CAN forget about the 2nd dress – do it. Your 1st dress is beautiful. If you CAN’T stop stressing about the new dress, you should try it on.

@Lyndzo:  You wouldn’t be the first!  Lots of women change dresses from ceremony to reception!  πŸ™‚

Oh my gosh! I did the SAME THING!!! With the SAME DRESS!! I had a dress, and saw Cinderella and agonized over trying it on. Finally I went and put it on and fell in love with it. Now I have two dresses!

Try it on! You will LOVE it!

I think it is worth trying it on. And then if it doesn’t work, your mind will be at peace. and if it does, then you can decide whether its worth it to buy it.

If the second one is in budget, then try it. If its not, don’t tempt yourself with something you can’t have.

I did the same exact thing! and actually, I purchased the 2nd dress and I’m sooo completely in love with it. I would’ve never known if I didn’t just go try it on. So I definitely vote to go and see! You’ll know when you put it on if it’s love or just lust πŸ™‚ and then you wont be living with the “what if’s”. I felt extremely guilty too at first, but now I’m just so happy that I’ll be wearing my dream dress. Ohh and we’re date twins!!! Good luck!

I love your original dress on you but I agree, only you know if you can get over the second dress! If youre ok with the $$ if you end up falling in love with it, then it can’y hurt to try it on!! Many people wear 2 dresses!

I LOVE the first dress but trying on the other won’t hurt if your mom is okay with it. You could end up hating it on you. I say try it on and go from there πŸ™‚

don’t feel guilty, we all do it.  what’s the harm in trying it on.  if you fall in love with it, sell the first dress and buy the second one.

you don’t want to have that feeling of “what about the other dress” in august.

Try it on.  You have as much chance of hating it as loving it.   I had dress regret, and went back and tried on the dress I first bought for a 2nd time.  Once I put it on again, I knew for sure it was the wrong dress for me.
