Today was a good day! We made our final honeymoon payment AND got FI’s reissued birth certificate so we could go apply for our passports. As some of you know we had some drama last week at the County Clerk. FI’s original birth certificate didn’t list his parents names so they wouldn’t accept it. We had to scramble to order a replacement and pay an outrageous $65 fee in hopes that the reissue wouldn’t be the exact same thing. It came in today and we were able to get everything taken care of. No expedite fee needed since we’re still 12 weeks out from leaving and they’re currently processing between 4-6 weeks.
And it’s Friday which is double awesome!

yay!!!! congratz! One less thing to think about now.
And I’m really glad you got the birth certificate issue sorted out. When we got ours, they didn’t even ask for proof of our parents names or our birth certificates. Good thing because fiance did a name change a few years ago and we aren’t really sure what his mom’s birth name originally was.

That’s great! One less thing to worry about. I can’t wait until our honeymoon is paid off too!

Thanks girls! I was excited before but now having it completely paid off, I can’t friggin’ wait!
Our honeymoon is HUGE for us. We’ve been together for 6.5 years and the most vacation we’ve ever taken was an overnight trip to Niagara Falls. Seriously, pathetic. lol
@Mollytov: We’re taking a cruise to Bermuda.

@UpstateCait: Let me know how the cruise in October goes for you! FI and I would love to take a cruise for our honeymoon and it’d be around the same month, but at a later date. =) Congrats on paying it off and everything being settled! Yay Fridays!

Yeah! We took a delayed honeymoon. We didn’t care at the time, but once we booked it– WOW. We were so excited. The next two months are going to fly for you!
