my wedding is farther out so i don’t know if i can relate but i don’t really talk about it a lot because im also going through school, a deployment, etc so it’s a lot going on. but two months out? shoot it would be all about me too lol if you are feeling a overload, just breathe and maybe take time for just you and focus on you, not the relationship, just a suggestion.

Well to keep from talking about it I would get into a wedding site like this and post like no tomorrow Rofl…. It helps you to get it out.. Ask other people what they think/ feel and so on… Maybe if you do that when your sign off you have gotten it out.

I hope I’m not and won’t be, venting here helps, and having a super long engagement helps too!

My Fi is this funny mix of not wanting to discuss/help figure things out- but he has opinions that will come out on hot button issues. I think he’s annoyed I bring stuff up constantly, but he knows if I didn’t we’d never get down the damn aisle.

I was talking about the invites this morning. And complaining about how I have a ridiculously expensive taste when it comes to stationery (even with wholesale price, just the paper I’m using is about $2.30 per sheet. But it’s GLORIOUS and is 100% cotton). But as I’m a graphic designer, it’s something I’m super passionate about! Some girls just naturally fixate on certain things I thought, and stationery is mine!

Anyway, after my tiny little rant, he turns to me and said “you’re being a bridezilla”. I didn’t know what to do.. I’ve never pushed him to do anything he doesn’t want to do. I’m just talking about paper and not even half as much as he talks about what he does for work. I was really taken aback by that comment. I’m trying my hardest not to be a bridezilla, but now I guess I need to shut up around him?

Nope! I’m not a bridezilla, but I still have about a year to go, so maybe I will be when the time gets closer, but I hope not!

lol i thought being a bridezilla was when you start demanding people bend over backwards for you and saying “It’s my day, my way” I didn’t think talking about the wedding was considered being a bridezilla.

I’m 9 months away (oh boy) and we just booked our venue so I’ve brought it up a couple of times but if I don’t nothing will get done. My Fiance thinks we have all the time in the world…..yeah right
