Hey there everyone! My wedding venue is a bit hard to find. Although I am including a map and directions with the inviation I am a little worried because the venue does not have a sign with the name of the location. I know it’s a little strange. I absolutely LOVE my venue, but I need to make a sign to help guests know that they are at the right place. Any Suggestions or pictures of signs you’ve done and/or seen???
Thanks so much!!!!

I have to do this as well. I love my venue but it is literally out in the sticks. Here’s so pics of what I’m thinking of doing.
a bee made a tutorial on making signs similar to the first pic. http://diy.weddingbee.com/topic/antiqued-this-way-to-the-wedding-signs

Some I found that looks nice and interesting:

I saw this idea on a wedding blog and absolutely loved it. They used weather balloons to hold the signs up to a specific hight. It seems so whimsical to me!Directions for making the signs yourself are on the Oh Happy Day blog.

love katiecats suggestion!
ours was a rustic, diy sort of affair…. so our signs are a bit… rustic.

Have you ever seen the “South of the Border” place on HWY 95? I think the idea could be done super cute and whimsical with the phrases.

You could do a chalkboard easel! They’re pretty inexpensive and you could definitely reuse or sell it.
I also like painted wooden signs. You can customize them to whatever your wedding’s theme is.
