I am trying to come up with a signature cocktail for my wedding, however I need to use ingredients that would typically be stocked behind a wedding venue’s bar (we are having an open bar with premium liquor) in order not to pay extra for this service. We are getting married on Long Island, NY.
We are making an Arnold Palmer and naming it after my fiance (he loves the non-alcoholic verson), however I want to come up with a drink (maybe a martini of some sort) named after me. I was going to do a cosmopolitan and have the glass dipped in pink sugar, but I would like something different.
Our wedding will be in the beginning of November, so I’d even be willing to hear some fall drinks.
Thanks for the help! I tried googling some, but to no avail.

Do you want them a specific color? What about martinis?
We are going with 2 signature drinks [as well as a full open bar]. I know this isn’t doable for you.. but ours will be frozen smoothie drinks. 1 will be a pineapple smoothie, and the other a strawberry banana smoothie [each mixed with rum].

If the wedding is in the Fall, how about an Appletini? (but named after you)

I like the idea of an appletini, but do most bars have the ingredients necessary to make one?

@FutureMrsMonte: every wedding Iv been to with open bar has… So I don’t see why not!

An appletini only takes vodka and apple schnapps, and a cherry for garnish. It is pretty standard for any bar to have these (worked as a bartender for a few years ). There are a ton of variations on an apple martini you can do too, like a candied apple martini which is the same ingredients PLUS butterscotch schnapps for the caramel. You can also do a red/green apple version and so on…
