I have a client who wants ME to think up a name for her signature drink.
Mind you I do not drink alcohol.. therefor I have no clue !
We are renting a double frozen margarita mix machine and she wants a large container of Sangria … I don’t even know what is in that !
I didn’t think people their age drank this much but apparently older people love to party??
While I like helping my brides at every turn, I am at a loss…
So here is a bit of info …
Bride is 63 and Groom is 58
Colors are: Dark purple, lime green , bright blue… (think Mardi Gras )
This is a second marriage for both of them.
While they are not having a “Beach” theme .. they both love the beach.
Everyone attending (but their kids) seem to be in the high 50’s and 60’s or above in age.
I went to the boards and read some posts on this already, I had no idea that some liquor changes color or makes a color when mixed… you gals seem to be pretty good at thinking up things so thought I would ask for some help.
After seeing video of the fella they hired to “Entertain” everyone, I may have to take up drinking to get through it LOL

Sangria is a wine drink with fruit in it. With a deep purple color theme, it could fit in using a merlot.

Why not have some New Orleans drinks as their main cocktails? Hurricanes are high in alcohol but fun, and sazeracs are DELICIOUS. Look up the ingredients to get an idea what’s in them. If they are trying to do a Mardi Gras theme, those fit right in.

@peachacid: No not really that theme… just those colors. She found the ribbon and wanted those colors. That was the best way I know to describe them.
