My attention lately has shifted towards our menu and bar and, to cut alcohol costs, I’d really like to do a signature drink of some sort. The wedding was originally supposed to be in March, so I was thinking a fruity drink like sangria. But since we had to push it back to December, I was wondering if anybody could think of some wintery drinks.

We had “Snowjitos” lol 🙂
We also almost did a “Spiced Sangria”
Cranberry Spice Sangria (served at The Carnegie Club, NYC)
1 tsp. agave nectar
1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
1/2 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
2 oz. Malbec wine
Directions: Muddle the cranberries in the lemon and agave. Then add remaining ingredients and shake very well with ice. Strain over new ice into a wine glass.
Garnish: chopped apples and cranberries

Mulled wine or the spiced sangria sound great.

Spiced Apple Cider (apple cider with fireball) is my drink of choice during the cold months.
