Spiked lemonade is good–what about strawberry vodka and lemonade? mmm =]. Any sort of flavored lemonade is always popular. Blackberry was always a big seller when i waited tables.

We had a drink that was black raspberry schnapps, vodka, and peach nectar juice that was really popular

Spiked lemonade is refreshing, and amazing.  we are doing a “blushing bride” which is vodka lemonade and grenadine.  It’s super yummy.

You could do vodka tonics/ gin and tonics… clear and also refreshing.

cocktailbuilder.com lets you type in the alcohols you have on the left and see what ingredients you need to finish a bunch of different drinks.

Here is a recipe for something called a “yellow bird”:

Yellow Bird

1 Part Banana Liquer 1 Part Coffee Liquer 1 Part Dark Rum 2 Parts Pineapple 2 Parts Orange Juice

Mix and serve over ice.

Recipe 2:

Brandy, apricot 3/4 oz. Liqueur, banana 3/4 oz. Rum, coconut 3/4 oz. Orange Juice 4 oz.

Recipe 3:

1 oz. Light Rum 1/4 oz. Galliano 1/4 oz. Creme de Banana 2 oz. Pineapple Juice 2 oz. Orange Juice

Combine ingredients in a highball glass filled with ice and stir.

Got this drink on a cruise ship once, it’s really good. Found the recipe online. Not sure why there are three versions…

And some other yellow cocktails:

Yellow Cocktail Recipes – Pour happiness right out of your cocktail shaker with this friendly color, which resembles a glass of pure sunshine. Each of these yellow cocktail recipes is perfect for the cocktail shaker or the spoon.

(Very Light Yellow Martini Recipe) Lemon Drop Martini – This martini recipe results in a beautiful drink. Simply rim a chilled martini glass with granulated sugar (wet it and dip it in sugar) and combine 2 parts lemon vodka with 1 part dry Vermouth or Triple Sec and 1 part lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill the rest of the cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain the drink into the prepared glass and garnish with a twist of lemon.

(Bright Yellow Martini Recipe) Yellow Fever – This drink, served in a Highball Glass, contains five ounces of lemonade and 1.5 ounces of vodka shaken in a cocktail shaker and served in an ice-filled highball glass with a wedge of lemon.

(Sparkling Opaque Yellow Martini Recipe) Yellow Birdie – In an ice-filled Collins glass, pour equal parts of 1 oz vodka and Crme de Banana and finish filling the glass with lemon lime soda. Stir gently and serve. Mixing this drink in a cocktail shaker is not always recommended.

Well I am a huuuge fan of the “Arnold Palmer” which is 2/3 iced tea and 1/3 lemonade!

We’re serving it with a sidecar for the adults who wish to make it an alcoholic beverage, and the rest can just enjoy it with slices of lemon floating in the container where it’s served from!

We’re also having the requisite soft drinks, tea, coffee, etc at the wedding, and beer and some house wine, but our other signature drink is the “Bushwacker” which is a frosty tasty beverage that is the cause of a huge festival in Pensacola.  In fact, we’re getting married at the height of the “Bushwacker Festival”.

You could always add in some yellow color to it..I swear, that is the yummiest adut beverage I’ve ever had!  I understand what all the fuss in Pensacola is about after having one!
