I really like the idea of doing a signature cocktail at my wedding. How many of you did a signature or are planning to do a signature cocktail? Did you schedule a tasting to decide on a cocktail?
My colors are green, brown, and orange. I was trying to think of some drink ideas that would go with my color theme. I was thinking maybe a mango mojito or an apple martini? What do you think?
I would love to hear any ideas!!!

We are having a fall wedding — Colors Plum, Pumpkin, and Charchaol and we are having pumpkin chai martinis and we are calling them TKtinis – Which are just our initials. We had the martini once at a martini bar, and our venue said they will get the alcohol to make them for us. The nice thing about our venue is they will let us buy certain liquors / wines up front at a discount for a case, but then return anything that we dont use.
I have a friend who’s last name is Tucker and they had Tucktini….

Our colors are teal and ivory. Our decor theme is peacock feathers. I googled peacock martini and low and behold there was a recipe for one. It sounds good, so yes now we are doing a signature drink. I do plan to do some practice runs beforehand! LOL It is only 3 ingredients, so it should be very easy to make. We buy our own liquor so, I can just make sure we have it on hand.
Apple Martinis are very good. I’ll have those available too. 🙂

I like the apple martini idea a lot. I’ve also heard of blood orange infused drinks, maybe you could do something with that to bring in the orange? Brown would be pretty tough I’d think, so I’s stick to those 2 colors. Unless you did coffee cocktails after dinner, though, yum.

You could do a red apple martini, there’s one recipe that I know which is made with whiskey, cranberry juice, and lime–it sounds scary but I swear it’s not.
I’d love to go the route of signature drinks. I want to serve a classic champagne cocktail, a bourbon drink, and my peach infused white sangria.
