I’d love to do one. We’re having a huge reception, so I think it’d be helpful to have something premade in pretty glass coolers to make the drink lines go quicker.

Fiance manages a bar, so I’m sure he’ll have some ideas. Other great ideas can come from restaurants with good menus (McCormick and Schmick’s is good…or the mojito menu at Cuba Libre).

I went to a wedding that had grape basil refreshers. They were the best thing ever for an outdoor party in June in North Carolina!

I had a cucumber basil mojito last week and thought it’d be divine for outdoors too!

You could always start with your colors, favorite liquor, etc.

We are having two alcoholic punches and one non alcoholic punch. We are on a tight budget and trying to save costs. Our colors are Turquoise and Sage and the theme is blue roses. THe blue drink is “The Blue Rose” it will have rose water, blue caracao, and 7up/sprite maybe. The green drink will be limeade with vodka and be called “The Thorns”. The non alc will be blue rasp punch with lemonade. We are planning on having them named and labeled as to what they are.

We’re doing one! We’re using our favourite liquor (vodka for me, splash of soco for him), and colouring it purple as that is our predominant colour. We’re both hyphentating our last names after the wedding (Wilson-Marshall), so we’re calling it a Will-Mar-Tini.

Our caterer is creating the actual beverage, and we are going ot have signs made up and put on the bar 🙂

@FutureMrs.Notch: If you do a sangria of some type, people will drink it. Then it sticks with his wine request but gives a little bit of a cute fruity choice. Perhaps a Peach Sangria. “Peachy kind of love” “Honeymoon Helper”

  • 1 Bottle of white wine (Riesling, Albarino, Chablis, Gewurztraminer, Rioja, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc)

  • 1/2 cup Peach Schnapps

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you prefer your Sangria)

  • 2 sliced peaches (frozen peach slices work well)

  • 1 sliced orange

  • 1/2 mango peeled and sliced
