We are allowed to have 2 signature drinks at our wedding reception. Our wedding is late July and our colors are coral, yellows, oranges and pinks. Right now we have to possible drinks but need help naming them.
The drink for the bride is:
orange dry, vodka, splash cranberry juice and lemon wedge
The drink for the groom is:
gin and tonic with lime
We would love help naming the drinks! Also any ideas to change the groom drink would be great too, he wants a gin drink so we’ve kind of settled on gin and tonic but would love other suggestions because we think that’s kind of boring. THANKS!!

How about a Singapore Sling as the gin based drink? There are various recipes (some are less right than others) but it would work with your colours, and it’s not too sweet.
The other suggestion is gin and tonic with cucumber. I’m not a fan (because I don’t like cucumber) but it’s supposed to bring out the flavour of the gin and is much more of a smooth drink (which makes sense since no acidic lime).

I love Gin Mojitos. To make you need 2oz gin, 2 tsp sugar, 5 lime wedges, 8 mint leaves, 3 slices of cucumber. You muddle peeled cucumber, lime and mint (squish in glass). Add the sugar (I like to pre dissolve in very hot water and add as a syrup) and the gin, and fill the glass with ice. Finish with a splash of club soda. They are super yummy on hot days. Nice and refreshing and oh so good. They are also easy to make in batches, and serve from a pitcher.
I think if your going to name drinks just name them after you and FI like “Johns Gin Mojito, Janes vodka splash” I like to try new cocktails but I like to know whats in them. I’m never a fan of drink names that leave you wondering what they are.
