We’re doing a signature drink and not doing a champagne toast. This is actually what our caterer suggested. She said that relatively few people actually enjoy champagne but everyone takes it if it’s offered for a toast.

I recently was in a friend’s wedding that did a champagne toast. No one at our table liked champagne and all made a face and took a sip to be polite. I think most people would prefer a signature drink.

If you want pink and still stick with champagne, I’ve seen a recipe for a Blushing Bride that uses peach scnapps, grenadine, and champagne.

Can you have the signature drink all night or is it passed? We are doing a signature drink instead becuase we are able to have it all night. A champagne toast is nice but a little wasteful. Not everyone likes champagne so they take a sip and set it down.

Our drink is a Spiked Arnold Palmer. (Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade) Not pink or clear but very yummy!

We’re doing something different for our bar, but I wanted to offer up that a pomegranate margarita is a sort of pinkish. That’s my signature drink.

I personally don’t like champagne but I would like to try something new so I vote for the signature drink over champagne toast.
