I’m glad someone brought this up. I have found it much harder to navigate. Even when you go to page 2, 3 etc halfUFO the page is full of the posts from the previous page. Also there are less comments on each page within topics so you have to spend more time just switching between pages.

All of these things seem silly but it has decreased my amount of time on here. As you can tellmy mine my posts I’m more of a reader than poster but I typically spend 45- mins to an hour every night after work winding down And reading the bee. Verydisappointed and sad for the site when changes happen that are supposed to improve things but only make them harder.

I personally am on less because I have lots of glitches while using the site. For one, the filter dropdowns don’t close once opened, which is super annoying. And sometimes when I vote in a poll, all the text in the thread vanishes and I have to refresh. I don’t feel like dealing with it.

babeba: Yup, I do notice a lot more snark now too. I think a lot of it is has to do with the lack of moderation going on, I hardly see threads being closed now even when things are clearly getting out of hand. The other day a thread I commented on was closed because I guess someone mentioned another site in a negative way or something like that but yet I look at another thread where the OP was getting attacked in like almost every post & yet that thread was untouched. Does that make any sense?!

freshflowers:  I’m on just as much as before the design change, but I’m not a big poster, and it seems like there are less posts for me to comment on! It’s boring!

I usually post from my phone, but it’s such a pain the ass to click next page ten times to get to the last post I read. I’m definitely on a lot less now.

Sounds like there was a lack of user acceptance testing to the general user group!

The site is clumby and down right slow. I feel like it takes more “eye strain” to search or scan content on the board. The site is even more clunky (not user friendly).

There are some nice features implemented but the easy list feature on the board it too detailed now.

I think I’ve made about 5 posts since the update…and each time I was thinking “hey look, I finally posted something”…I just don’t like it. At all. I really miss the old WB.

i can’t stand it.  I used to be on here all the time bc there was so much activity and it was always changing… and it was easy to navigate.

I hate the you can’t see where people are from or their wedding date.  I hate the white background a big fonts.  I hate how when someone tags me in a post and I check my notifications, I can’t see what they wrote – I just have to “go back to this thread” –  so basically have to click on like 4 different things just to see what they wrote.

I don’t like how you can’t see when the OP has responded.  I dislike every single thing about the change

blushbliss:  Abso-freaking-lutely!  I am on WB MUCH LESS!

I am trying to be patient and adapt to the new format, its just not happening.

Frankly, I don’t see many improvments.

    Jabberwocky:  This!!!

I got back from my honeymoon and was like.. WTF? What happened? I actually haven’t even been on the full site, but I HATE using my phone now. The pages are difficult to navigate, te topics don’t seem to be in order, you can’t see if you have messages… The list goes on. I love the bee, but the functionality has to be there.

Having been on the design and development teams for several websites, I’m really surprised at the lack of planning. I think a nice facelift with a few cosmetic changes would have been much better. And probably less expensive.

But I’m still holding out hope because I love the site and many of the bees!

I’m used to the layout now but I do think there is less activity so I use it less because it’s not as interesting.

I’m getting really really annoyed by the time stamps all saying 7+ hours even when a topic is only a few minutes old. That really deters me from using the site, although I think this only started a couple of days ago.

I get that it’s free so I try not to complaing too much on the boards but it’s just hard for me to understand why it seems like almost no progress has been made.

It’s totally awful and the time I spend I here has gone from hours a day to almost nothing. It’s just not worth it and I fail to understand how a professional website with a professional team can be this hard to use and full of errors.
