I found out my SIL is stealing all my friends, well my whole life in fact. She tries anything to copy me and be like me and most recently she is after my friends. Like seriously, get your own friends. She has no friends of her own so
I can see why this is appealing. What makes me mad the most is she tries to hide it. Like if your going to steal my friends at least tell me about it! Do I confront her? Let it go and hopefully the issue will resolve itself… what do I do?

If she is that terrible, everyone will see it before long. What do you mean she is stealing your friends? Are they excluding you now or is she just being friends with your friends too?
Don’t confront her.

She is your sister in law, so she is family, sorry but your just going to have to put up with it.
If you “confront” her your going to come off as slightly nutso 🙂 you dont “own” your friends.

I agree if she is that bad everyone will see it sooner or later. Dont you worry!! But Im sorry that your feeling like this. Even though you are frustrated I would not confront her. Just make plans with your friends and have a girls night out or something. Go about your life just like you normally would. She just wants to be like you.. Which like futuremrsmp said is flattering.

Maybe its flattering, but copying someone is also a form of jealousy. Who can really tell.
My friends haven’t began to exclude me but I can feel from one in particular that we are not as close anymore (doing one on one things together has become less frequent). I guess I always just think worst case scenario.

Be flattered that she admires you so much that she wants to copy you. Although I would say it’s a bit harsh to accuse her of “stealing” your friends, maybe she wants them to be her friends too since she has no friends of her own. She’s probably really lonely. If she was turning your friends against you or excluding you then that is different, but just becoming friends with your friends is no big deal, especially as she’s probably lonely.
