(Closed) Silent treatment from etsy seller – what do I do?!?

File a claim with etsy. Did you use paypal? You can file a claim there too. You can also leave her negative reviews on etsy.

Im sorry, but I would start looking for alternatives.

@FortiesFlare:  I would contact Etsy HQ directly to file a formal complaint and try to get your money back. In the meantime, I’d find another avenue for your bouteneires and coursages. Its such a pain in the A when people don’t do what they’re required to do. I used to sell on eBay and ran into jerks all the time. So sorry you have to go through this.

I’d most def contact ETSY….very unacceptable for a seller to take that long. Also 10 messages have gone unanswered that is far too many. Some ETSY seller place notes in their shop if they are going to be out of town…..are there any notes on her main page?

I’d def be searching for alternatives. I know you have 45 days to file a claim with paypal but it appears its already past that 45 day mark maybe so I’d start with contacting ETSY.

I’d send one last final message and inform her in that message that you will be contacting ETSY and PayPal if she doesn’t respond.

She should have given you a delivery confirmation when she “sent” it. It costs 80 cents. But i agree with the others. File a claim. I am sorry this happened.

Definitely log a complaint with Etsy! That’s just shady! What was her rating like when you ordered? I would do as a PP suggested and let her know if you don’t hear from her, that you will be escalating it further, and that if she doesn’t want her reputation marred, she better get your paid for stuff to you PRONTO!

This happened to me with my guestbook. File an etsy claim. She will have to respond to you if she wants to be able to continue to sell on there. I also ordered in Feb and it just finally shipped on Friday after I had my claim open for 2 weeks
