@ArtDecoLisa:  I had a silk petal runner. I wore 4.5 inch heels and I had no problems. I did make sure it was very secure. I used non-slip backing (like what you put under carpets) glued to the underneath side.

I practived walking on it before hand to make sure I had no issues. I think as long as you have a flat surface for your ceremony you will be fine. If you are on grass…..I think it might be challanging. All depends on your space….where is your ceremony?

Here is my runner:

On the wedding day:

And these were my shoes that I had on walking on it!!

@ArtDecoLisa:  My dress was satin and it didn’t snag on it…. Not sure about lace or your veil thou?. Maybe someone else can chime in and help r/t lace dresses And veils

I would be more concerned about your veil bc it’s more delicate than your dress…. Hopefully someone else will chime and give some input as well.

One thing I must add is unless you have lots of patience don’t even attempt the runner….. I totally wanted to throw in the towel a few times…. Lol

@ArtDecoLisa:  Mine is a lil over 3 ft wide and 25 ft long. It took a few month working of it a little each day.
