I’m not going with silk flowers, but I was just thinking that you wouldn’t have to pay someone to preserve your bouquet if it’s silk.  ๐Ÿ™‚

We are going with silk, probably natural touch. I am deathly allergic to real flowers, and we don’t think it would be wise to expose me to them at our wedding. As far as what other people think, well, we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves and it is our wedding, so we really don’t care what other people think. We are just telling them this is how it is. If they don’t like it, they don’t have to come.

I am using fake flowers and I love the way they turned out.  I wouldn’t care what people say about wearing fake flowers, My FH and I like them and that is all that counts.

I’m using fake flowers for the reception but real flowers for my bouquet and ceremony, and I’m using carnations because they are inexpensive and I think they are really pretty.

i had a poll on this not too long ago – i almost did fake flowers myself, but found the really good ones are just as expensive as real ones, not to mention im allergic to most flowers *sniffles*

do what you want – its your wedding. and if people judge you on it, they arent your real friends anyway!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
