One thing I didn’t anticipate about my bouquet was how strongly it smelled. I instantly regretted wearing any perfume, and it was a bit too much. I think the bouquet you posted is gorgeous! I’d go with that.

I love both, but for my own bouquets i’ll be doing silk. I want to keep them & frame them in a shadowbox.

That is stunning! I really wanted to do silk, purely for the cost savings. Real flowers are so expensive. However, I will be doing real flowers for mine. I absolutely fell in love with blue dendrobium orchids and am doing my whole wedding around those flowers. They are IMPOSSIBLE to find in silk (if anyone finds them, let me know!) and if they are silk, they are just as expensive as real ones. For that reason, we will be doing real flowers.

If anyone knows where you can get blue dendrobium orchids that look like the real ones, PLEASE let me know!

You could do both!! That’s what I’m doing my flowers and my BMs are real including top table and church flowers…but my centrpieces and floral decorations for my reception are silk…this way I get the best of both but cut down cost too!!

@LeosLady28:  I have ordered this exact bouquet! I love love love everything in Morgann Hill’s etsy store. It was so hard to settle on my bouquet. I’ve ordered some all-peony bouquets for my BMs. I can’t wait until everything arrives. 🙂

It’s definitely hard to beat the value, even with the cost of shipping to Australia the flowers are still cheaper than if I had bought fresh flowers locally. And none of the wholesalers in our area sell to the public D:

Normally I’d vote real flowers all the way, but hon those look amazing! One of the prettiest bouquets I’ve seen real or fake.

I’d be tempeted to buy them myself except that my Future Mother-In-Law is a talented florist.

I am going to be doing silk flowers, I am having a destination wedding and plan on bringing my bouquet and centerpiece flowers with me….obviously real flowers wouldnt travel too well! Plus, they will hold up in the heat all day AND I can keep them.  I’m sure people will have comments but f ’em!
