I want to do a rose petal lining down the aisle at my ceremony. If the aisle is say 5 rows of chairs on either only (we expect about 90 guests), I would assume I only need about 20 feet of rose petals? Does anyone know how many rose petals I should buy? The silk version is pretty cheap and comes in bags of 1000.
This is the look I am going for.

i had about 4000 and that was plenty. i just got them off DHGATE for $30.
A few guests picked them up and threw them as confetti as we where walking back down the aisle which looked great in the photos.

It all depends on how you want it to look. I wanted mine to look uniform and not just sprinkled so I use about 15,000 petals for 27 feet. I bought mine at the dollar store so it cost me $15 on the petals. Plus I used tulle that I found there to glue them to so I think a few more dollars for the material. I found the glue at walmart. I didn’t spend more than 30 dollars in the end for mine. I do like what Newy02 says about throwing them, but for tossing I have dried rose petals and lavender in little containers that will be tossed as we walk down the aisle.

could you post a pic of what you did with the tulle and petals? I’m intrigued…
