I’m wondering if anyone has advice for whether silk satin or regular satin (which is a bit thicker) is better for a flat bum….the style is a trumpet or fit and flare dress and I need to choose a fabric that better accentuates my bum (given that its on the smaller side). At the very least I dont want a dress that accentuates its flatness. HELP!

I think every dress is going to be different. It has to do with more than just the fabric.

Unless it’s sandwashed, satins shine a lot (especially in photographs). So satins can give the impression of a bigger butt, but it will also give the impression of bigger all-over.
The cut of the trumpet/mermaid/fit-n-flare would also affect how the back looks, as well as any undergarments you wear.
