What should say 2012, what should say 2013? Our invitations will obviously say 2012, because that’s the year we get married, and our tiaras and things will say 2013, because of the NYE part of the night…
But what about the stamps on our invitations? I found great ones on zazzle that you customize the year with a disco ball or fireworks… I’m not sure! and if I put confetti in our invitation envelopes, would it be 2012 or 2013? How about our photo booth props?
This is making my head hurt 🙂

2013 because you are celebrating the incoming year; and your wedding of course!
I would put 2012 on the invites (for the date and time of the ceremony) but decorate and use 2013 for everything else!!!

I would do 2012. If you’ve ever watched the celebrations of NYE in Times Square or other major cities they always have decorations and props that match the “old” year. Look at it this way- Its a New Years EVE celebration- that means use 2012. Now if you were doing a day after brunch or New Years DAY celebration thats when to use 2013

Ahh! even we can’t all agree haha.

I tried Googling for an answer and the only thing that popped up were adds for “2013” decorations.

I think 2013 because that is the New year that NYE celebrates

Every NYE event I’ve ever seen on tv or attended had NYE decor for the year coming up. I’d definitely use 2013.
If it really keeps bugging you why not use one of these image types?

@HappilyEverAfter54: hahaha. i was annoying my fiance with this tonight and that’s what he found too. there is a zazzle stamp like that, but i just don’t love it like i do the fireworks or the disco ball stamp.
