I am well aware this really isn’t a big deal either way, but..
We have two invitations- one in Greek, and one in English. On the English invitation, my name comes first, and my initial comes first (there is an initials design)- on the Greek invitation, FI’s name comes first, and his initial comes first.
Now we are getting a custom wax stamp that we will close each invitation with that will have our initials on them…Should we just get one, with FI’s initial first and mine second, to use on all of them? Or should we have two that match the order of initials for both invites?
Does it really matter?
I know this is a small menial detail but I thought I’d ask…

I wouldn’t buy two stamps, especially since those aren’t things you would use after the wedding.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Yeah I was wondering if we would ever use them again…maybe for invitations for a formal dinner party or something…? But even so, it’s still probably not necessary to get two.

Why not get a monogram of the three initials? your first initial, his last name( I know I’m assumming you will be taking his name), then his first initial
You will be able to use it again.

@julies1949: I want the initials we use on the stamp to be similar to the invitation- and the invtations only show our first initials in a prominent way.
I think I’ll just ask for both of our first initials intertwined in some way and that way I can use it for both.
