We had 21 people at our wedding, and I have 4 best friends including my sister. So it would have looked really odd to have all them standing with me and then only have like 10 people sitting.  So I did an unofficial bridal party, and it was great. I think my girls enjoyed not really having to buy a dress and do all that normal stuff that comes along with being a bridesmaid!

I think the norm is to have 1 person for every 50 guests.  But honestly, silly or not, do what you want.  Maybe just have a Maid/Matron of Honor if you don’t want to feel like half of the guest list is standing up there with you. 🙂

We have a very small group of guests for our ceremony. I am only having my bf stand up for me.
